The 2022 Bassmaster Classic, which will be held at Lake Hartwell (South Carolina), March 4-6, 2018. The tournament will feature five of the best bass anglers of the past year. We will be looking at Rick Clunn and Hank Cherry as well as Seth Feider and Paul Elias. We'll also take a look back at the past champions of bassmaster classic to find out who has the best chance of becoming champion again.
Rick Clunn
Rick Clunn is a veteran on the water, having won eight of the Bassmaster Classic's record-breaking events. Florida's resident has been competing in the tournament for over 40 years, qualifying for 28 championships. His record of 11 top five finishes in the Classic is impressive, as well. He holds the record of the most heaviest winning catch, 75 pounds, nine ounces.
Hank Cherry
Hank Cherry, pro bass angler and the recent winner in the 2022 Bassmaster Classic. He has a winning record in tournaments and is currently striving to win the Bassmaster Classic for the third time. He began fishing nine years ago. He's well-known for his ability wrestle hawgs in the water and limit creels in the shallows. Hobie Eyewear and Bass fishing legend John McCabe have created the ultimate polarized fisheye sunglasses.

Paul Elias
Elias is a prolific tournament fishing prodigy, having won six tournaments throughout his 42-year career. He invented the kneeland-reel technique to catch large bass and set the all-time record for a tournament with five limit fish during the 1982 Bassmaster Classic. Elias was also the Elite Series heavyweight champion for several years.
Seth Feider
Seth Feider, a Minnesotan native, qualified for the Bassmaster Classic after a strong finish at the Elite Series points race. He made the top 25 cut on Sunday and weighed in a 5 lb 15 oz Hartwell toad on the final day. He has been a steady performer and should be in contention for more Anglers Of The Year titles.
Ashley Hackney
Tomorrow will see the MLF world championship tournament begin on Lake Nacogdoches (a 2,212-acre lake located in East Texas). Hackney believes it's possible to catch smaller, trophy-sized fish in these waters. As evidence, a piece of tackle left on Hackney's front porch was missing during the competition. Here's why.

Steve Kennedy
Steve Kennedy has been a consistent angler in bass fishing. He is a Century Club Member and has been in the Bassmaster Classic for six consecutive years. His career average bass weight is 63lbs, ranking him ninth among Elite anglers. He also has fished eight Bassmaster Classics, five Forrest Wood Cups, and a total of five Forrest Wood Cups. Kennedy also holds many other records for bass fishing.
